Rebel against Gods- Bakenezumi's development in Shinsekai Yori

In the beginning of Shinsekai Yori I didn't suspect bakenezumi's thread would be used as a important theme. In the end I'm happy it did, because it lead to interesting aspects. I will try to analyze some of bakenezumi's life through these years, it will be more of summary and if you watched the anime more carefully than me, you can amend me if I made a mistake.

Thoughts about old anime- not too smooth animation, sound that make your ears hurt but....

I have been watching Uchuu Senkan Yamato recently and I finished the first series. It's the oldest anime I watched and I am quite excited. Of course this post won't be a review of Uchuu Senkan Yamato, I will write one once finished all three series. This will be about how I feel about the animation in that years- that is 1974. Of course I know it's bad to judge the animation of this decade just by watching one anime but I would like to share my thoughts.

Anime 2012 Summary

I don't know if I will write a proper summary of previous year but I would like to do a list that helps me sum up my thoughts in a short way. This post will not include reviews or options about them but only a stark list. You wonder what I enjoyed this year? The list includes my best anime, female and male characters, pairings, biggest disappointments, openings, ending and music. I suck at doing an exact number of choices so some of them will go only with top five but some will include even eleven choices.

An adaptation of light novel that turned into a fanfic- Sword Art Online final thoughts

Warning: Spoilers till the end of anime.
Sword Art Online... an anime which was suppose to be my favourite in the last season. I would rate it 9/10, despite that moments with Yui and happy Kirito and Asuna married couple were rather poor. I could survive that, especially when the last boss was defeated with sudden plot twist, when the game was cleared in seventy something level. And then ALO arrived...

12 moments of anime – year 2012.

I thought it will be fun to participate in '12 moments of anime' although I will do it in a different way. I don't have time posting for all 12 days so all moments are just in one post. They aren't long neither. I will be doing a summary for this year titles in upcoming posts.

Inside Identity – Chuunibyou Syndrome

I'm not going to analyze chuunibyou in psychology term, I will focus on character profiles from Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! Chuunibyou or just Chuu2 for short is a kind of syndrome which describes a person that would either act like a know-it-all adult, or thinks they have special powers no one else has. It can be translated "Middle School 2nd Year Syndrome" or desribed as Adolescent Delusions. According to Chuunibyou User's Manual there's tree type of Chuunibyou syndromes but I would like to write about only one of them called “Evil Eye” which describes a person who thinks he has some hidden powers.

Dio Brando – the most badass villain ever?

I always were a fan of evil characters, often cheering on bad guys even when the dark side rarely wins. Most villains are just more interesting than the main characters. What makes a character a good villain? It’s a little complicated but Dio Brando is certainly one of them.

Fall 2012 Popular Shounen Manga Adaptations- Magi and Code: Breaker first impression.

Notice that I didn’t read neither of this manga. Of course I heard of the titles long before the anime previews but I don’t start never ending mangas before they’re finished. Fans were satisfied when their favourite titles were adapted. As long Magi got some flattering options I heard Code: Breaker fans are disgruntled by the anime.

Fall 2012 Shoujo Anime- Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun and Sukitte Ii na yo first impression.

I rarely approach shoujo romances, even though they don’t have anime adaptations too often. We have tree titles of this genre this season, I decided to watch only two of them and I must say I’m positively surprised. At first sight they appear to be nothing different than another shoujo romances but surely they have some untypical elements.

Release your anger - Madoka Magica Flash Games.

Punctured Kyubey is the cutest Kyubey.

When you have someone you really don’t like in anime, you try to release your feelings but destroying the screen isn’t a good idea. However fans’ imagination is infinite, they want you to let go of your emotions just like they wanted back there. For that they created flash games.  

Athena was a loli - Campione final thoughts.

Sometimes you know that anime is tawdry, the plot is bad, heroines are stereotypical, the author mixed up threads so nothing makes sense but despite of all that you really enjoy this title and you’re looking forward for the next episode. If I would analyze Campione, it wouldn’t encourage anyone to watch it. I really enjoyed it and frankly, I sead “Good old harem anime.” It was long before I had so much fun watching a pure harem anime, were there’s no place for past trauma experiences and heroines’ drama, just good entertainment. Campione exactly showed how a harem should look like- with no random break moments about nothing (where later there’s a sudden drama) but on heroines. Here even when the character was weak or just weren’t your type of character you liked her anyways because every one of them got satisfying screen time, each got a kiss and most importantly- all were equal part of the harem. I don’t count Ena here because she appeared in the end. 

Decline of humanity in distorting mirror- Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita final thoughts.

Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita is one of this untypical comedies, when you need to think a little to start laughing and unlike other titles from this genre without doubt it can be called a satire. If only the series would keep up the level of first four episodes alongside with ninth and tenth it would became one of my favorites. In other
words very good episodes counterbalances with a little more weak episodes.

A little more Yuru, a little less Yuri- Yuru Yuri ♪♪ final thoughts.

For me the second season got better gags. Of course there were some weak episodes but good moments preponderated. I was catching up few episodes from previous season a moment before the second and I immediately noticed improvement. For example that moments with Chinatsu’s ponytails which assimilates everything to hairs oblivion., more Mirakurun, more Chinatsu’s drawings that created the most beautiful ending I ever saw with my own eyes:

.hack//Sekai no Mukou ni- final thoughts

.hack//Sekai no Mukou ni is a movie set in 2024 (19 years after .hack//SIGN, 9 years after .hack//Roots and 4 years after .hack//Quantum). The technology advanced since the first version of The World- a virtual MMORPG. The movie tells a story of Yuuki Sora, a 14 year old girl, who unlike her friends from school isn't exicited about new gadgetry and games. Her strict grandpa don't accept new technology either, making Sora undeveloped in this area. On the other hand her friends Kakeru and Tomohiko are playing The World every day. After long suggestions Sora decided to start playing with them and she receives an avatar named Kite. A chain of certain accidents started occurring in The World not long after that.
